Graining and marbling introductory course

Join us for this 5-day introductory workshop on graining and marbling!
Immerse yourself totally in the European techniques as you learn how to paint realistic woods and marble from a master in this field. Michel will not only do step by step demos on each subject, he will also give you ample advice on how to improve your techniques. For the purpose of training, Michel uses oil paints and oil glazes in his classes but his techniques can be used with acrylic paints.
- This course is intended as an introduction to graining and marbling.

The Art of iconography

We are thrilled and honored to invite Prosopon School Instructor and Master Iconographer Nikita Andrejev, who will come and teach a 6-day icon writing workshop at our studio.
The course offered represents the study of the techniques, principles, and spiritual meaning of the ancient Christian art of icon painting. The Prosopon School draws on various historical methods and schools of painting, including the ancient horizontal "floating" technique (plav’) of the midieval Russian tradition (XIV–XVI centuries). However, emphasis is placed on the assimilation of the principles underlying the artistic tradition rather than on exact copying of prototypes.

The Italian Touch with Stefano Luca!
We are delighted to organise 2 back-to-back workshops with Italian master decorative painting artist Stefano Luca who will be teaching how to paint Italian ornaments.
During these 2 weeks, Stefano will share his know-how and techniques that he acquired not only through his professional training but also during years of working on prestigious commissioned works all over Europe and internationally. ornaments in grisaille. This technique, also know as the Italian touch,
will focus on creating ornaments in relief using a very specific
